Shiv Shakti Group of Colleges is one of the most modern equipped Colleges Group of Punjab. College of Nursing occupies 6 acres of Prime land with articulated building situated at Bhikhi on Sunam-Patiala road. The college is providing courses of B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic), B.Sc. Nursing, GNM & ANM courses of Nursing.

The institute has highly qualified and experienced faculty. There are frequent visits of guest lecturers from national universities, which bring the research and development into class rooms.

The college has well equipped laboratories of Fundamental of Nursing Nutrition, Maternal and Child Health with latest equipment's i.e. I/V arms, Body Manikin and instruments, Laboratories of Anatomy & Physiology and Microbiology, Nutrition Lab, Community Health Lab and a Micro reading room with LCD Projector.

There is well- equipped separate library for nursing students with all the modern facilities. The library has 2300 nursing books and Nursing Journals of all subjects.

The college has well ventilated 12 classrooms with modern facilities, to enhance the presentation of academic exercises like lectures, seminars etc. The institute has a good Audio-Visual setup with T.V, D.V.D and Over Head Projectors with white screens, Slide Projector, Epidiascope, Sound System, Models and Charts for the use of faculty and students.

The college possessed good and comfortable accommodation for girls with the facilities including 24 hours security, entertainment, boarding and mess. Hostel rooms are spacious and well ventilated, The washrooms are provided under the same roof with ultra-modern facilities such as geysers etc. The College Mess with modern facilities to accommodate about 200 students at a time.

In keeping pace with modern development the institute is attached with Civil Hospital, Sangrur, Barnala, Sunam, Mansa, CHC Budhlada and Khiala Kalan and Mata kaushalaya Hospital, Patiala. The institute is also attached with the most modern multi speciality, Super specialty Hospitals for providing the best training in management of sick patient such as Neuro-Surgery, Neurology, Plastic Surgery, Micro-Vascular Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Oncology, Endocrinology, G.E. Surgery, Psychiatry and Transfusion Medicine are also functioning. These Hospitals possess all kinds of state of art facilities.

This institute is attached with community Health Center, Budhlada & Khiala Kalan for rural field experience with residential facilities. For the M.C.H. services it is attached with Mata kaushalaya Hospital, Patiala.
